A PRESTIGIOUS EVENT FOR ART4YOU GALLERY IN THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

(Saju Nair - Dubai) Another golden feather added to the crown of Art4You Gallery as they shook the minds of the art community with an astonishing event in coordination with Al Qusais police station in Dubai.

Now you may think what's a police station got to do with art? Well truth be told, there is a lot. Support and encouragement from the country's administration in various segments sets a great example to build a trustworthy relation and confidence within the community and much more social relations with the administration and the society.

This year, specially on the occasion of 101 years of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan who was the founding father and the principal driving force behind the formation of the United Arab Emirates and who is also popularly referred to, in the UAE, as the "Father of the Nation", a wide range of programs are still being organized throughout the country to respect and honor the founding father, the one who united this great nation of success and prosperity.

The United Arab Emirates is celebrating 2019 as the "Year of Tolerance" and to create awareness on the value of tolerance within the society, many such events have been conducted by the administration throughout the year. One such event was organized by the Dubai Police during the holy month of Ramadan at Sonapur (a place in Dubai) wherein approximately 5000 blue collar employees along with distinguished personalities from various paths of life joined together and shared the same stage for an 'Iftar' on 24th May 2019.

To add more colors to this gesture of equality, Jesno Rengi and Rengi Cherian founder of ART4You gallery have taken the lead to conduct a live painting wherein 12 exceptionally talented artists occupied the center stage to give life to their imaginations in line with the assigned theme "Tolerance" at the same venue at Sonapur. This event has grabbed the attention of several enthusiastic souls by the magnificent organization skills and quality of the creations of these talented minds who gave life to amazing artworks in a 3-hour long display of astounding skills which really thunder-struck the large gathering who had been a part of the Grand Iftar. This event was graced by the presence of Respected Brigadier & Director of Al Qusais Police Station and other dignitaries from the police force & other social organizations who also took time to congratulate the artist and gallery for their delightful participation.

The successful curation of this event has now opened more creative avenues for ART4You gallery to join hands with the administration to encourage and create awareness about art within the society. This was justified as The Dubai Police - Al Qusais station once again decide to work hand in hand with ART4You gallery to exhibit the art works created during the Live painting event, in addition to more ingenious creations which portray the rich tradition of UAE at the premise of Al Qusais Police Station on the opening of the new Happiness Center on 3rd July 2019.
