A WALK BACK TO THE HISTORY TO CELEBRATE TRADITION AND CULTURE

Tradition and culture are the two most important subjects which are required to be passed on through generations for the purpose of maintaining the original purity of the very essence of the country. The United Arab Emirates celebrated the 48th National Day on 02nd December 2019 and the art industry has yet again taken the lead to express their solidarity and to celebrate this very special day. One of the most prominent and well accepted galleries in the region who has gifted many mesmerizing events have yet again surprised the art industry by organizing an remarkable art exhibition titled 'Treasures of Arabia' with the theme Arabian Culture and Heritage at the historical Ahmedia Heritage Guest House where 48 artists showcased their astounding creations while the magical curation of Jesno Jackson produced a stunning experience that has enhanced the bench mark of success.

The subjects assigned by the curator was accepted by the artists in great enthusiasm as their creations displayed at the traditional ambience of Ahmedia Art Gallery has indeed echoed the spirit of patriotism, love and affection towards the visionary leaders who has guided the country and emerged successful at creating a great nation which is viewed by the world with wonder.

Having entrusted the continuous and noticeable presence in the art industry, time and gain Jesno Jackson has proven her amazing capabilities as a curator with a professional approach to be identified as one among the best organizers in the art world. It has been observed that the gatherings conducted by ART4You gallery attracts many high-profile personalities from different segment which has aided these exhibitions to become commercially viable for the artist and the gallery.

ART4You gallery was founded in 2009 by Rengi Cherian and Jesno Jackson and engaged in active participation since 2015 has gifted hundreds of mesmerizing gatherings where many artist from UAE and abroad have got opportunities to showcase their artworks and to enhance their talents. Willingness to accept the challenges and to think differently has created an identity for Jesno Jackson in the art industry. Selecting 48 artists and artworks from hundreds of entries is undeniably a difficult task, the curator has indeed done her fair share of homework to incorporate the best of works and the results were visible on the opening day of 'Treasures of Arabia'. Stunning portraits of rulers of The United Arab Emirates created in various mediums occupied the center stage along with many more glorious artworks of special landmarks, emotions related to tradition and culture from the Arabian Peninsula and elegantly designed calligraphy creations.

Founder of ART4You gallery and the curator of this exhibition Jesno Jackson shares her experience with ilTelevisionario2 and she says "'Treasures of Arabia', is the fourth event ART4You is collaborated with Ahmedia Heritage Guesthouse, focusing on the leading role played by the Arabian Peninsula as a site for exchange of culture since the earliest times. Presented through more than fifty works, the visitor will discover a panorama of the different cultures that have followed one another in the Arabian Peninsula from prehistoric times to the current modern period. The exhibition reveals how we come from different cultures, and diverse personalities has portrayed the beauty of this country and spread the message of unity and how we all live together within this humble space in harmony. UAE is a place like no other, a unique country where tradition and modernity walk hand in hand, where the old is not overridden by the new and it has the allure of magnificent variation, from the ultra-modern to the dawn of time. It is a place where every rock has a shape and every road a history, so with this exhibition we tried to walk back on the road of history to gift a nostalgic feeling for the visitors".

'Treasures of Arabia' was inaugurated by Dr. Hamed Bin Mohamed Khalifa Al Suwaidi - Chairman and Director of Abudhabi Arts Society in the presence of Mr. Ibrahim Juma- World renowned Emirati Music Composer, Eminent Emirati Artist and Entrepreneur- Mr. Ahmed Rukni Al Awadhi, Mr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Dossary - Eminent Emirati Artist, Mr. Peter Gressmann founder of artforumuae, Mr. Ali Al Ameri - Calligrapher and Plaster Artist, renowned artist Ms. Nada Al Barazi and other invited dignitaries, artists and art enthusiasts.

Jenson Rengi one of the youngest participant of 'Treasures of Arabia' astonished the art fraternity with his fabulous creation of an animal which he favours the most - the majestic Horse. His beautifully and gracefully created artwork in acrylic with shades of cool colors was in fact one of the most impressive creations displayed. At the age of 15, this young talent has managed to enhance his passion along with his education wherein he has proved his ability in multi-tasking. Happiness and pride was quite visible in Jenson as he was one among the vast array of participants in an exhibition curated by his mother, Jesno Jackson, who is widely accepted as a prominent personality in the art fraternity. Having participated in various art gatherings has helped Jenson to enhance his passion, creativity and to boost his confidence which has inspired him to give life to some beautiful artworks. The crowd present at the venue was really amazed with his talent and so as he was poured with appreciations which he humbly acknowledged.
