This online art exhibition and interactive session by Funun Arts which unifies art & poetry also spreads the message of peace, love & harmony. "Art, the simple three-lettered word in any form has a broader definition which is a universal language by its own, creating something to express and relay the emotions that speaks to people is those feelings that enlighten the path. Even when we see art in everyday life, the beauty and important factor is how we conceive them. Be it photography, music, dance, poetry, painting or anything. Our idea of correlating literature with art was to give an opportunity for artists to reach beyond their imaginations and to bring out the best of what's hidden in them. Poetry is an art form in which human language is used for its aesthetic qualities in addition to, or instead of, its notional and semantic content. Poems frequently rely for their effect on imagery, word association, and the musical qualities of the language used and same goes for painting where the artist portrays their emotions. The interesting part and the reason behind this events uniqueness is the correlation of poetry and painting. They both are forms of art one is literature and the other is visual. The famous painter Lessi said that painting and poetry are similar in the way that they make "absent things present" they also both imitate reality." Says founder and curator of this show Ms. Shiba Khan
Creative director of Funun art, Ms. Farah Khan has played a lead role in the PR activities and she says "The ability of the artist to transmute paints into forms, shapes and feelings has always been a source of wonder to me. Equally fascinating is the interplay between art forms - the way poetry, sculpture, music and painting relate to each other. I feel the relationship between painting and poetry is a particularly close one. Both come out of a desire to make something new of the familiar, to capture an experience in a living, concentrated way. Both share a harmony, structure, color and rhythm in compositional balance of a painting, one can almost speak of one color rhyming with another. Ninety artists from twenty-five different nationalities worldwide sharing their artwork with Rumi's quote is a unique experience. For centuries, art has inspired poets and poetry has inspired artists as well. Discover a myriad of lessons, ideas and multimedia that explore creative expressions and inquiry at the crossroads of poetry and visual art. "Painting is poetry that is seen rather than felt, and poetry is painting that is felt rather than seen." - This quote of Leonardo da Vinci has in fact expressed the complete essence of feelings and this was our objective when we designed this concept."
The exhibition which is scheduled till the end of July will be an experience of a lifetime. Our readers have the opportunity to admire the beautiful creations with a simple click on the below link.

It would be poetic to conclude this report with a quote by the fabled poet which instills inspiration and fascination. "Your heart is the size of an ocean. Go find yourself in its hidden depths." and this is exactly what the artists have portrayed during these times of great difficulty. Even though they were confined to the four walls of their houses, their wings were open and ready to soar to the heights and depths of their imagination that resulted in creating some impressive works.
